  This was the first U2 album I purchased on vinyl and I have been listening to it ever riorarintasinffullcirpurenecluswfram.coinfo remaster is first class. As I write this I am playing it full volume and it is crystal clear, capturing its unique soundscape. Tracks like Pride, The Unforgettable Fire, Promenade and Bad are stand out tracks for me on the album/5().

  Feb 12,  · I don't have the reissue on vinyl to compare, so I put the UK LP against the CD from the deluxe edition, The CD sounds excellent, but very different. There is more room echo and reverb that I'm hearing, maybe better instrument separation, but the bass doesn't sound as good and it's not as cohesive.

  A longtime fan favorite, The Unforgettable Fire has nonetheless been pretty well forgotten about. It essentially has this reputation among the critics as being "The one with 'Pride' on it", probably because it was uncomfortably nestled in between two of U2's most acclaimed albums, War and the Joshua Tree, and sounds like neither/5(10).
